Branch 6000 Veterans Group – “The Mess Kit”

Branch 6000 Veterans Group, The Mess Kit, is now taking off after our initial introduction in 2021. It is the branch’s own military veterans group created for Branch 6000 service members/veterans who are actively serving or have served and who are working as Letter Carriers for the USPS. We are there to assist veterans with any military issues or questions regarding your employment with the USPS. We also can provide or assist with the resources needed for military members such as military leave, Veteran Preference, Military Buyback Program, Wounded Warriors Leave and resources such as the Veterans Crisis Line. We will have our own section in the Limb Leader as well as our branch website, https://nalcbranch6000.com/, to provide veterans with information. We ask that any service member /veteran please complete the attached application to the National’s Veterans Group and send it to National as well as provide the branch with the same information so that we may have accountability at the local level.
